To take admission for BAMS (Bachelor's in ayurvedic medicine and surgery), you need to appear in the NEET (national eligibility cum entrance test). As NEET exam is compulsory for this course, you need to first register for 2025 NEET whenever it starts. After you appear for this exam, counselling process will start followed by documents verification. After that, you'll be alloted college based on your preferences and NEET rank. BAMS admissions at Gujarat Ayurveda University are available on the merit basis as well as on the entrance test basis. There is no direct admission as a form of admission. Admission requirements:
- Eligibility: 10+2 with pass in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology and should have passed in each of them and 40% marks in each of the subject for SC/ST Candidates
- Entrance exam: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test commonly abbreviated as NEET.
- Seats: 180 (BAMS)
- Reservation: 50 percent seats for Gujarat state candidates and 15% for All India quota.

To get a BAMS seat in the Ishan Ayurvedic Medical College and Research Centre, first, clear NEET-UG with good marks. Meet the eligibility criteria that is clearing 12th with 50% marks in PCB. You can apply online through the official website or through the counseling portal. The seats are distributed in proportion to merit, 15% for the AIQ and 85% for State Quota.
