Yes you can pursue D.El.Ed and a BA together but in different modes i.e. one from distance and one from regular. As, pursuing both D.El.Ed and B.A. in regular mode (attending classes physically) is typically not allowed. Universities and colleges rarely offer both programs together and even if they do, attending both the sets of classes simultaneously would be practically impossible due to overlapping schedules.

Actually,there is no entrance exam for B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science at MSU Baroda. To get admission, candidate must have passed (10+2) or High School Senior Secondary exam by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any equivalent exam conducted by any State Board or Equivalent. He or She should have secured a minimum 50% Aggregate with English as a subject. All SC/ST candidates have a relaxation of 5% in the minimum aggregate. So there is no cutoff for B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science at MSU Baroda.

Candidates are often confused between Diploma in Sociology and BA Sociology. Let me tell you that both these are different qualifications though they have similar eligibility criteria. BA Sociology is a more popular option among students. Diploma in Sociology is often pursued by candidates before pursuing a bachelor's degree. You must know that a Diploma is not equivalent to an undergraduate degree. Many students who do have scored less than 50% marks in Class 12 and are not eligible to apply for BA Soiology course in reputed colleges apply for Diploma courses.

Invertis University has not released a concise placements report for its BA placed students. However, its 2022 final placements report is out. As per this report, the highest package offered to the placed students stood at INR 10 LPA. In addition, over 1,500 placement offers were made. The placement percentage achieved was 90%. Some of the top companies that participated in the placements drive were Accenture, LG, Cognizant, Amazon, Dell, HCL, ICICI Bank, Infosys, etc.

Invertis University provide accommodation to the students. The candidates opting for hostel facilities have to pay the charges and the component is included in their total fee. Invertis University hostel fee is INR 1.65 lakh. This fee amount does not include the meal plan. Moreover, the given fee is also taken from the official website/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

Of course, you are eligible for BA Sociology even if you have not studied Sociology as a subject in Class 12. You need not worry because Sociology courses especially at the undergraduate level are open to all. You can apply for the course irrespective of your stream or board. You should have scored at least 50% marks in Class 12 . Hope this helps!
