The academic term for the BA programme offered at Goa University starts from June every year. The academic term for the undergraduate general education programmes offered by the affiliated colleges of Goa University starts for the first, second and, third year BA programme students.

Goa University BA Portuguese course structure is divided into semester-pattern. Hence, the curriculum includes subjects semester-wise. Students are required to study following subjects as mentioned below:

• Portuguese Language I
• Literary Prose 
• Introduction to Portuguese Linguistics I
• Indo-Portuguese Studies I
• Legal and Commercial Translation
• French Visual Culture through the gender perspective, etc.

The University also offers the Free Studentship, Student Aid Fund and, earn while you learn scheme in addition to scholarships from Government and Non-Government agencies. The Directorate of Students Welfare coordinates and supports activities such as financial support through the Student Aid Fund and Earn While You Learn Scheme.

Admission under the UG courses of Banaras Hindu University are based on the individual's merit. BHU is a Central University of India so the students enrolled  only through the [CUET-UG] Central University Entrance Test  conducted by NTA [National Testing Agency]. A student through valid score in this test are enrolled for further pursuing higher studies under the institution. So a person cannot get direct admission to BHU.

BA in History at UPRTOU is a three-year course, divided into six semesters. In each semester, students have to study a combination of compulsory and elective subjects. Each subject carries certain credits. A list of some subjects included in the curriculum of BA in History at the university are listed below:

• India: 16th Century to mid 18th Century A.D.
• India: the earliest time to 8th Century A.D.
• Modern Europe Mid 18th to Mid 20th Century

BA in Fashion Designing at UPRTOU is one of the BA courses offered by the university. The UG-level course is extended over three years. The course duration is divided into six semesters. The evaluation is based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). The papers included in the subject include various compulsory and elective subjects. Each subject carries certain credits. Some of the subjects included in the syllabus of the course are listed below:

• Basic Designs and Fashion Illustration
• Drafting and Pattern Making
• Garment Fabrication
• Textile Coloration and Printing technology
• Traditional Textile and Crafts
• Design ideas.

The process of BA admission at UPRTOU is conducted in online mode. It starts with submitting online applications. For this, candidates can visit the admission portal on the official website of the university. After registering, they must fill the detailed application form, upload the necessary documents and submit the application fee. They must also select the desired course and the study centre. After the document verification, UPRTOU releases a list of selected candidates and the study centres allocated to them. The last step in the process is to pay the course fees.
