Yes, You should start as early as possible. CMAT basically tests a students knowledge of Quantitative Technique & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, and General Knowledge. Almost all the topics covered in each section consists of elementary school subtopics. In order to have a pretty good score in CMAT one must score well in all the sections. Neglecting any one section is not an option here. However, one can choose to invest more time in a particular subtopic of a section than the other.

Once you have completed you Bachelor's and that too in commerce, though you can go for any of the Masters or Professional course but the following would be the best choice:
1. Chartered Accountancy (CA)
2. Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance
3. Master of Commerce, M.Com.

Hey Yash,
The cutoff score changes every year. However, last year's cutoff percentile was 70.
So, you might get shortlisted for the admission procedure if you have more than 70 percentile in CMAT.
