Hello!
I answered this question with the help of my Brother. I have an MCA post graduate degree. I had a totally messed up education and I did a B.Com for graduation. Fact is, I love programming, which I realised after 2 years in to B.Com. For a person like me, it was not that difficult to do MCA and many of my friends says that it is a repetition of what they have already learnt. If you are from the same field, I wouldn't recommend MCA. I read in the answers that some of them got placed in MNCs only after doing MCA. which I feel is a total waste of your energy and time. I would invest in genuine experience rather than working in MNCs.

B.Com is a Bachelor degree. In my opinion, Tally is no way helpful in completing a degree. I think tally software learning not a part of the syllabus. So tally is not at all important in your studies. But If you want to work as an accountant, or as a Finance professional, Tally knowledge is highly desirable, because many of the business implemented tally erp 9 as their accounting or business administration software. Nowadays tally is a complete payroll software, so you will need it if you want to be an HR professional also.
