Yes, we can apply for B.Com. The eligibility criteria depends upon college requirements. There is no further eligibility clause for a science stream student.

Hi Riya!
It is definitely possible but each fashion institute has its own eligibility criteria. Some may allow admission to a candidate hailing from any educational background while others would prefer a candidate who has done graduation in design field itself. You will have to check the criteria of all the colleges that you are interested in. For example: Pearl Academy will not consider your application for the Masters programme but NID and NIFT would accept the application as the admission criteria is solely dependent on how you perform in the entrance exam. Eligibility criteria for AMU B.Com:
Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (Commerce) or an equivalent examination
with not less than 55% marks in aggregate of English and Accounts and two subjects from
amongst economics, business studies, business organization, commerce, banking, entrepreneurship, mathematics and/or statistics or Diploma in secretarial practice examination of this University with not less than 55% marks (in theory subjects only) in aggregate.

Try and score anything more than 92-93% to have a secured seat. It's quite difficult to even for people managing or students studying there to estimate a percentage. I will let you know why -
Though I wrote my boards 3-years back, I still know a bit about how the thing works. For admission into B.Com morning or evening what is taken into consideration is the marks of the best 4 subjects. But hold on to your breath. The best 4 has to include English and mathematics.
There was something in the news about CBSE maths paper being tough, and the so-called discussion in the parliament, appeals of lenient checking, re-examination and what not.
