There are some universities that have this name for post-graduation in journalism and mass communication. However, the old and most accepted title is MA in India. Some have introduced M.Sc. which is not everywhere acceptable. Mass communication is not a science stream subject, it's in social science. Go for MA. Both are equivalent. Check whether your planned place has M.Sc approved from UGC or not.

Hi Aditi,
There is no course which can guarantee you a job and when you talk about US it is one of the toughest countries for job seekers. You should be following current news and all the trending topics about H1B sponsors, work permits in US etc. MS Finance, MS Accounts, MBA and MS Management are some programs you can think about. Research more on these programs and related careers and decide.

The majority of syllabus of B.Com (P) and B.Com (Hons.) is same. B.Com (P) gives an overview of the various subjects where the same course in honors has more depth and content. In B.Com (P) you cannot specialise but in honors degree student can specialize. B.Com (Hons.) is now a de-facto a standard accepted degree for jobs. Cut off for B.Com (Hons.) is higher in comparison to B.Com (Pass). If you can get admission in B.Com (Hons.) then it will be a better option in comparison to B.Com (Pass).
