Both programmes lead to different career paths and according to your caliber and passion you can choose the programme.
B.Com programme gives you knowledge related to accounting, taxation and auditing but mass communication programme provides you information about media, journalism, news research and video editing.
So, choose the programme according to your career path and passion.

It will be difficult to get a decent job by just doing B.Com. You should pursue some additional higher studies to get a job with decent salary. All depends on your interest areas like you can do MBA in finance after B.Com or you can do CA or CS.
