Company Secretary acts as the mediator between the company and its Board of Directors, government, shareholders and regulatory authorities. The responsibilities of a CS are to ensure that the Board procedures are strictly followed and regularly revised; to guide the Chairman and the Directors on how to make the best use of their responsibilities under various laws. Opportunities for Cost Accountants are in the Private Corporate Sector, public sector to advise the government in cost pricing and in framing the appropriate fiscal and tax policies. A CFA is trained in financial/investment management and management accounting. The Reserve Bank of India, the International Development Bank of India, the Industrial Finance Corporation of India and the Indian Railways recognize the CFA program and employ CFAs. Stock Brokers work in stock exchanges which are like market places where stockbrokers buy and sell securities for individuals or institutions. Yes, you will be a graduate once you clear your B.com from Delhi University (no backlogs).
UPSC examination is conducted every year and on the basis of this examination a number of IAS, IPS, IFS officers are recruited.
To be eligible :
- You need to pass graduation in any field from any recognized university.
- You are eligible if you are in the final year of graduation.
- Your age must be between 21 to 30 years. 3 and 5 years of relaxation for OBC and SC/ST respectively.
- You must be an Indian citizen.
If you fulfill the criteria mentioned above, you may sit for the exam.
