You can do graduation in any stream. Doing only B.Com is not essential for MBA courses. However, incase you want to make a career in the Accounting, Finance or Banking field then it would be better for your career to do B.com before MBA.

M Com and MBA are the most sought after courses at present. Actuarial Science sciences is also popular. You may supplement your qualification with a CA/CWA or CS course or do it individually. Choice of a stream is yours. If you are interested in accounting or taxation , you may prefer MCom/CA or CWA. If you think you can become a better manager, prefer an MBA.
