Yes, the Goa University offers good support for SC, ST, and OBC students. The Fee Waiver Scheme provides SC/ST students with 100% fees reimbursement, thus making technical education almost free. Moreover, the Post Matric Scholarship provides students with the required maintenance allowance as well as funds for study materials. To avail of these facilities for the BE course, the students have to apply through the National Scholarship Portal or the Goa CM Scholarship Portal, which has to be done during October or November.

After the JEE results are announced, the DTE Goa releases the information brochure and application forms in early May. To seek admission to the BE course of Goa University, it is necessary to fill the application forms correctly and submit them physically to the collection centers by mid-May.
