As per the CTET structure of Paper-II for classes VI-VIII, The Child development, Language-1, language-2 are compulsory subjects. While Mathematics and Science are for Math and Science teachers respectively and Social Studies/Social Science are for Social Study and Social Science teachers. Therefore, as per your academic background, you can opt here for mathematics and science subjects for CTET.

You can speak to the college administration on personal level, if they can exempt the attendance for you and can allow you to get the books issued and study from home. Though there are very less chances, you can try. May be you will have to attend the classes around twice or thrice a week.
