Yes, Maharaja Agrasen Himalayan Garhwal University (MAHGU) offers direct admission to BPharm aspirants if they belong to the hill region. Such candidates are only required to satisfy the course-specific eligibility criteria.
However, for other candidates who do not belong to the hill region, merely satisfying the eligibility criteria is not enough. They must undergo the university's selection process which is either merit-based on entrance exam-based.

Himalayan Garhwal University (MAHGU) offers a regular BPharm lasting four years. The tuition fee payable over the course duration in INR 4 lakh. Besides the tuition fees, candidates may be required to pay additional one-time charges. It must be noted that the mentioned fee is sourced from the official website of the university/sanctioning body. It is still subject to change and hence, is indicative.

No, B. K. Mody Government Pharmacy College is generally considered affordable for a B.Pharma degree. The annual tuition fee is around INR 3,150 to 3,200 per year. This is significantly less than the average cost of a B.Pharma course in private colleges, which can range from INR 40,000 to INR 1 Lacs per year.

Students must pass 45% in 10+2 for B.Pharma at B.K. Mody Government Pharmacy College, Rajkot, and register through GUJCET or NEET scores in the Gujarat ACPC portal (June-July 2025; fees around INR 500).
100 seats for counseling are to be allocated purely based on merit. By sending 10+2 marksheets and GUJCET/NEET scorecards along with any category certificates included, the student is good to go.

ASU's B.Pharm programme (4 years) is charged approximately INR 10.4 Lacs in total (INR 2.6 lakh/year) and is very highly priced compared to government institutes such as the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (INR 1.44 lakh) and somewhat less compared to other private universities such as GD Goenka (INR 6.4 lakh).
The fee structure is also modeled on advanced labs, industry-oriented course curriculum, and professional tie-ups which are expected to receive better placement avenues (up to INR 12 LPA).
