No, you don't have to do D.Pharm for doing B.Pharm. Eligibility for B.Pharm in MDU is that a candidate must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects from Mathematics /Biology /Biotechnology/Computer Science from a recognized board.

Hello Safia Siddiqui,
For admission to the pharmacy courses, the student must have passed class 12th with physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology.
Students have to secure a minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
Students, those pass the three year Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) are also eligible.

D degree is actually better than a B.Pharma degree even though both are undergraduate courses. Pharma. D stands for doctor of pharmacy and it is a 6-year academic programme. It comprises more of clinical aspects of pharmacy than B.Pharma. Does and there are more job opportunities too. Bachelor of Pharmacy, B.Pharma is an undergraduate degree course in the pharma field. The duration of this course is 4 years. After the completion of this course, an individual can practice as a Pharmacist or chemist.
