B.Sc Computer Science

First year you will have four subjects, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics and Electronics. You will have 2 theory papers of Computer Science (cs1&cs2) and two practical exams of cs1 and cs2 each, two theory papers of Mathematics (m1 & m2) and one practical exam (m1+m2), two theory papers of Statistics (s1&s2) and one practical exam (s1+s2), two theory papers of Electronics (e1&e2) and one practical exam (e1+e2). For the second year you will again have four subjects, Computer Science, Mathematics, Electronics and English. You will have two theory papers and two practical exams for Computer Science, two theory papers and one practical exam for Mathematics, two theory papers and one practical exam for Electronics and one theory paper of English. In the third and final year of your B.Sc. Computer Science you will have to study only one subject ie. Computer Science, you will have six theory papers and three practical exam for Computer Science.

Candidates who have passed their Undergraduate degree with 50 % aggregate marks from any recognized University in India or abroad recognized by UGC / AIU are eligible to apply.
Candidates writing their final examination in March-May 2020 are also eligible to apply (Applicants who are in the final year of their studies should have secured 50% or above aggregate in all the Semesters / Years of Undergraduate Examinations conducted so far).
Applicants from non-Computer Science should have studied any of the following subjects at the Pre- University or Degree level Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Mathematics or Electronics.
The selection process comprises the Skill assessment, PI and Past academic performance. So from above, you are writing the final exams of your B.Sc course hence you are eligible for this program.

The eligibility criteria for MCA course at IDOL (University of Mumbai) is given below.
Educational qualifications :- Graduate in any faculty of a recognized University with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) by UGC and Mathematics as a subject at XII or higher level. Those Students who have appeared for final year and whose results are awaited are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test.
For the admission to MCA at IDOL, the Entrance Examination is conducted in the month of June. Exam forms for the same (Entry Forms) are filled in the month of May.
