Hi dear, you can always drop but it may affect you. Lets rationalise it in detail. When an HR tries to hire someone, they look for education gaps. Good thing is you don't have gap till B.Sc. But when you drop one year and then continue your education then you may get this question. Still this should not harm you if you happen to finish your education from IIT or IISC. But, if you happen to finish your post graduation from some college which is not known, then this may become one limitation.
