Admission for B.Sc Microbiology in Chennai is based on Merit basis. You must have completed 12 th standard or equivalent exam with Biology/ Botany from a recognised Board. Students from other Boards should submit eligibility criteria.
Every year the cut-offs varies. So mostly above 90 % would be preferred for admissions. If you have completed 12 th standard from Tamil Nadu board then it is better to maintain 185 to 190 marks in all three subjects.

But here in B.Sc. The cadetship time is less than that of DNS. And finally in B.Tech marine engineering, it is a 4 year engineering course, after which you will be sailing in ships as a engine cadet and will be doing maintenance and overhauling of various machineries in the engine room of a ship.
