The B. Des Interior design course is four years of duration, While the B.Sc. Interior design is of three years. The admission in B. Des courses are based on the entrance test conducted by the respective college. Where as the admission in B.Sc. Interior design are based on the merit in qualifying exam I. e 10+2. The B. Des course covers the theoretical as well as practical aspects of interior design, while the B.Sc. Covers the theoretical aspect only. The employments and campus placement opportunities in front of B. Des students are more, So the B. Des Interior design is the best.

Indira Gandhi Open University (IGNOU) is the best option for pursuing B.Sc. Course through distance mode. The course fee is very reasonable about Rs 12500/, The B.Sc. Course have the flexibility in completion and can be completed up to maximum 6 years of duration. There is no minimum and maximum age bar for admission. There are several regional centers and study centers in Maharashtra can be helpful in pursuing the B.Sc. Distance course. The eligibility criteria of B.Sc. Is given below. Eligibility : 10+2 in Science or equivalent
