Yes, you can appear for the IIT JAM exam in the final year of your Bachelor's degree or after completing it. For applying in a reputed IIT or NIT for M.Sc. In Information Technology, you need to score well in the exam. This year IIT Kanpur will start the IIT JAM Counselling from April 2020 and aspirants who will qualify the cut-off marks in IIT JAM Exam and will be featured in the merit list can take admission in various M.Sc. However, If you are not able to clear the cut-off for IITs, then also you can fill the CCMN 2020 application form. The CCMN (Centralized Counselling for M.Sc. & M.Sc. Tech admissions to NITs and CFTIs) will start conducting the counselling process for the candidates who will qualify IIT JAM examination for admission in M.Sc. Programmes for 22 NIT's and the score is valid for many other colleges like IISER's.

Bachelor of Science (Hons. ). In Computer Science programme at BHU Varanasi : The Bachelor of Computer Science B.Sc. Programme is a three year course open to any one having completed 10+2 from Mathematics stream. Computer Science is one of the most sought subject combinations among the students admitted to B.Sc. Programme in Mathematics group. The Banaras Hindu University shall conduct Undergraduate Entrance Test (hereinafter called UET) in the month of May-2020 for admission to various Undergraduate Courses. Admission will be on merit in the UET subject to fulfillment of eligibility requirements of the Course for which the candidate has applied. Eligibility criteria : Passed 10+2 or equivalent Examination securing a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate in the subjects Physics, Maths plus any one of the following: Chemistry, Statistics, Geology, Computer Science, Information Technology and Geography and must have passed in each of the concerned three subjects (as supported by the Certificate issued by the Examining body).

The eligibility criteria for MCA course at IDOL (University of Mumbai) is given below.
Educational qualifications :- Graduate in any faculty of a recognized University with minimum 45% marks (40% for reserved categories) by UGC and Mathematics as a subject at XII or higher level. Those Students who have appeared for final year and whose results are awaited are eligible to appear for the Entrance Test.
For the admission to MCA at IDOL, the Entrance Examination is conducted in the month of June. Exam forms for the same (Entry Forms) are filled in the month of May.
