You can do the course in distance mode but you will have to go for practicals. Some B.Sc Streams are not available in distance mode. What you can do instead is join an evening college or a college where attendance is not an issue. You can also consider IGNOU but it should not be your first option. You are enquiring as to whether you can get admission directly in 2nd year of B.Sc. Based on your Diploma in engineering? Right? Unfortunately, this lateral admission is possible only for engineering graduation and not for any other degree.
