Majority of these graduates opt for Masters degree in the same. But they can also choose various specialised areas in this field for the post graduation courses. Many universities offer the study of chemistry at post graduate and at doctoral levels. The chemicals are used in almost every field such as medicines, food products, and electronics and even in construction activities. This creates many opportunities for the chemistry graduates in diverse fields. The industries, specially chemical and pharmaceutical, the universities and government laboratories are the three major employers who recruit Chemistry graduates. The entry level jobs in this field usually require at least the Bachelors degree in chemistry, but majority of the jobs like research needs candidates with Ph.D. in the same. II. B.Sc. Physics acts as the base to study various higher education courses. Upon completion of the course, the candidate can go for Masters degree in various specialised areas. Physics graduates can find ample career openings both in public as well as private sector enterprises. They can apply for all governmental jobs that insist graduation as the basic qualification. One can find various opportunities in governmental organizations like DRDO, VSSC, ISRO, SSPL, etc. They are also recruited in space research centers and in research laboratories. Now It is completely up to you. It is your interest. But I personally I think that physics would be a better option because physics is the thing which governs this whole universe. If you did B.Sc. In physics from DU or any other reputed institute than you might have a very good chance to be selected for ISRO, DRDO or might be selected in any other good places. All the best.
