As the competition is getting harder, so 60 - 65% is the minimum. Well, if you want to do microbiology honors then it depends on the college. A good college will require a higher percentage in chemistry and biology for admission.

Most institutes offering the course admit students based on their performance in the HSC (10+2) exam. The candidate needs to have:
Completed the 10+2 level of education from a recognised educational Board. Secured a minimum aggregate score of 50% at the 10+2 level. Some of the top entrance examinations carried out in the country for admission to the course.

Candidates seeking admission to the B.Sc B.Ed.
The programme should have passed CBSE Senior Secondary examination/ Pre-University examination of Karnataka or an equivalent examination of Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry or the UT of Lakshadweep with 45% marks in the aggregate.
