It is a bit tough, because there is no direct relation with B.Sc computer science and maritime skills. If the age and fitness factors are in compliance, you may be lucky. To check the detailed criteria, please see here-

B.Sc has better scope than B.Com. This programme has become one of the highly studied degree courses in Indian institutions. You can pursue M.Sc after B.Sc and further get into research areas and can even look for any other job oriented professional course.

There are plenty of fields you can choose with B.Sc like agriculture, animation, aquaculture, aviation, biochemistry, bioinformatics, computer science, dietetics, etc. If I talk about the scope, agriculture, computer science and dietetics can be better comparatively.

An engineering degree always has an upper hand. After completion, you will have a broad domain to work. You can go for specialisation M.Tech/ MS/ integrated PhD courses or can even opt for MBA.

Bhawna Chaudary,
As the competition is getting harder, so 60 - 65% is the minimum. Well, if you want to do microbiology honors then it depends on the college. A good college will require a higher percentage in chemistry and biology for admission.
