I will suggest you to study BA because in civil service exam, most of the questions are coming from the areas like history, geography, current affairs, politics etc. It's better to improve your standard/base through studying B.A.

Yes, a commerce student can pursue B.Sc-IT, if and only if the student has taken mathematics in class 12th. Yes, you can pursue B.Sc-IT form any university or it's affiliates, only if you have scored more than 63% marks in your 12th grade exams. Hope this helps you. All the best.

Admission in IIMB depends on whether you have received a call. If you don't receive a call, you can't get admission in IIMB.

All B.Sc courses have same scope, and it is only a matter of choice. B.Sc in Genetics is relatively new and it is slightly more in demand. But, pursue it only if you have interest in it.

The session usually begins in July or August for new courses. Since you will give exam in September-October, then result will be out around December atleast. Hence, it won't be possible.
