The selection process for the BSc course at IISER Pune is completely based on the IAT channel. The IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) is an entrance exam conducted by the IISERs (Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research). It is specifically designed for students who want to get admission into the BS-MS Dual Degree Programme at IISER Pune and any of the seven IISERs.

The primary eligibility requirement for admission to BSc courses at IISER Pune is that candidates must complete their Class 12 from Science stream. Moreover, for the admission process, the college accepts the valid scores of the IISER Entrance Exam. IISER  entrance examination is conducted once every year. For admission, candidates need to write an IISER Aptitude Test (IAT), and on the basis of candidates' achieved scores, the institute releases the cutoff.

IISER Pune does not offer a BSc course in the standard form. It offers a BS-MS course for the duration of five years, divided into ten semesters, and offered in full-time mode. For admissions to this dual-degree BS-MS course, candidates must have secured marks equal to or above the cutoff percentage declared by IISERs for their respective category (General/ OBC/ SC/ ST/ PwD).

To gain admission to the B.Sc Medical Microbiology program at the Kerala University of Health Sciences, you'll likely need to meet certain eligibility requirements and potentially participate in an entrance exam. While some B.Sc programs at KUHS may use NEET scores, the specifics for Medical Microbiology should be verified through the university website or admission notice.

The candidate will be chosen on the basis of merit at the All India level. Every year in February or March, a written objective exam will be administered at a few chosen locations (published periodically). Every year in April or May, students who pass the entrance exam will be invited to an interview at a few chosen centers. Applicants need to be deemed medically fit. A Medical Board of Military Medical Officers will decide the fitness.
