Yes, you can go for it. IIT JAM is one of the toughest exams conducted in India. So, you must prepare well for the exam. Check all the details regarding IIT JAM Exam here: https://goo.gl/fNdqWo IIT JAM Exam will be conducted in the month of February 2019. So, you have enough time left for the preparation. Start you preparation by checking the complete syllabus and exam pattern. Refer best books and study materials for your preparation. Solve previous year question papers and take online mock tests. No, it's not mandatory. You can apply for M.Sc in forestry. As M.Sc. Is a good option. As Masters degree can give you good career opportunities. You can go through this.
