No, it's not mandatory. You can apply for M.Sc in forestry. As M.Sc. Is a good option. As Masters degree can give you good career opportunities. You can go through this.

Yes, you can go for either. The percentage is less but that does not mean that you will not get any admission. There are many universities that can get you best education in Canada.
