Admission to this course is based on the marks obtained in 10+2. Basic eligibility to pursue this course is that candidate should have cleared class 12 with Mandatory Subjects : Chemistry, Physics, and Candidate must have studied Mathematics/ Biology as an optional subject. B.Sc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration is generally offered by Central government. IHMs and other institutes affiliated to NCHMCT and is of 3 years duration, while
BHM is mostly offered by private institutes affiliated to state universities and is of 4 years duration. Apart from this, there is no such major difference as both the degrees are equally recognised by industry and for other purposes.

First and important requirement is you have to complete your 10+2 with PCM with minimum 50% aggregate. There are different selection procedure for different institute but most probably every institute has its own entrance exam.
