No, not all. Any Biology student can do it easily, only some difficulty is faced by B.Tech biotech students due to maths and physics.

You can further do M.Sc in Biotechnology or M.Tech in Biotechnology for good, reputed and good salaried job. I am writing some options for biotechnology students :-
