A limited proportion of graduates pursue postgraduate studies to specialize in hospitality-related functions such as hospitality management, events management, or human resources (HR). Remuneration:
The starting wage is Rs 15,000-Rs 20,000, which may be increased to Rs 35,000 after 2-3 years of hard work. After graduation, you may join as a management trainee and after 18 months of training, you can become an assistant restaurant manager and earn around Rs 25,000. If you are eligible for restaurant manager after two years (excluding the training period), you can earn around Rs 30,000 - Rs 35,000 per month plus perks.

I was asked the identical question during my MBA admissions interview, and here is how I responded:
"No one is taking away my education from the final four years of my B.Sc. I've been captivated by IBA's reputation and renown as the greatest business school in the country, and I'd like to pursue an MBA degree for the following two reasons:
To get an understanding of the commercial side of things, something I was not taught throughout my B.Sc. Courses
To meet bright fresh brilliant individuals from all backgrounds and so develop a strong network that will benefit me for the rest of my life. To obtain professional grooming, which would undoubtedly provide me an advantage in today's competitive job market. "
Then they questioned me what I meant by clever individuals (as I indicated in my second point)! I managed to give them a compelling explanation, albeit I can't remember what it was! Nonetheless, the conclusion of my interview was positive.
