Alagappa University BSc in Physical Education is a three-year programme, divided into six semesters. The course curriculum includes semester-wise list of subjects. Some of the subjects included in the course curriculum are:

• Fitness and wellness in Physical Education
• Anatomy and Physiology
• Sports Nutrition
• Gymnastics
• Foundation of Yoga, etc.

The subjects included in the Alagappa University BSc in Yoga course are around the foundation of Yoga and relative studies. This course curriculum is designed to provide theory knowledge of the art along with practical practices. Some of the subjects included in the Alagappa University BSc in Yoga curriculum are:

• Texts on Hatha Yoga

Based on IIT Kharagpur NIRF 2024 Overall Report, the median packaged offered to UG students in 2023 stood at INR 24 LPA. In 2022, the median package offered to UG students was INR 18 LPA. This shows that IIT Kharagpur placements witnessed a remarkable hike of 25%.

According to multiple media reports, a total of 700 placement offers were made on the first day of IIT Kharagpur 2024 placements. Further, students of IIT Kharagpur received more than 19 international offers. Importantly,  6 offers with a package of more than INR 1 crore per annum were offered to IIT Kharagpur students. Over 61 companies offered various job roles to students, mainly in Finance, Banking, Analytics, Software, Core Engineering and Consulting sectors.
