GITAM University Bangalore admits students based on their marks obtained in GAT exam. The GAT exam is conducted by GITAM University itself.  Students interested in taking admission in BSc courses must appear for the aforementioned examination. After the result declaration of GAT, the admission committee of the institute prepares a rank list based on the GAT scores. Students are selected based on their respective rank and seat intake.
