No, you cannot change the branch in engineering as Computer Science after completion of Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Candidates who have studied Diploma in Computer Science or Diploma in Information Technology (3 years duration) are only eligible to apply for BE or B.Tech in Computer Sc

Yes, you can take lateral entries in Deccan College of Engineering and Technology. You should apply here and wait for the results. The lateral entry seats are limited and it depends upon the college, what minimum criteria it has prescribed.
