Yes of course you can do. Some of the top colleges are RVCE, PESIT, MSRIT, Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering, BIT, RNSIT, BNMIT. Computer Science is a trending field and has lot of scope and career growth. All the best.

Hello Himanshu,Yes, you are right. Tamil Nadu allows admissions to it's colleges running Engineering courses to only domicile of the state. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information. https://www.shiksha.com/university/anna-university/tnea-exam
However, all is not lost. Just apply on it's web portal and wait. There is something called all India quota that normally nobody talks about. Also colleges where seats are not filled invariably put pressure on government and finally some students do get admitted even if they do not belong to Tamil Nadu. It's only a gamble, but then it costs nothing. Do why not try it? B

Hello Ganesh,
No, there is no entrance exam for Anna University for B.Tech or B.Arch course. Admission in Anna University is subject to merit in TNEA this is calculated by the marks obtained in physics, chemistry and Maths in class 12th. But, yes that average is calculated out of 200 i.e. 100% of Maths, 50% of physics and 50% of chemistry. Good luck.

AP EAMCET is an entrance examination conducted by government of Andhra Pradesh for admission in state level engineering colleges, similarly TS EAMCET is an entrance examination conducted by the government of Telangana state for admission in state level engineering college of Telangana.

Dear Reethu,
You need to qualify LPU-NEST. The Eligibility Criteria (Qualifying Exam) for M.Tech CSE is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BE or B.Tech (CSE or IT or ECE) or MCA or M.Sc (IT or Computer Science) or equivalent subject to qualifying LPU-NEST or GATE.
Or,
In case marks scored in B.Tech (CSE or ECE or IT) or MCA or M.Sc (IT or Computer Science) are 80% or above, then LPU-NEST or GATE will be exempted and a candidate may apply for admission.
