SRM is one of the top private universities of our country and the placements are really good and many MNCs like Accenture, CTS, Amazon, etc. come for recruitment. SRM University has its own exam called SRM JEE for admission into undergraduate programs. Your rank should be below 5000 to get CSE at the main campus of SRM University.

Hi Hartej, B.Tech in mathematics and computing is a undergraduate computer science course in the area of applied mathematics, computer science, pure mathematics, statistics. Graduates often enter the field of banks, research, management, finance, taxation and insurance companies after completing this course. At the same time course of computer science deals with system design, management, programming. Their is nothing like better package since it varies from individual to individual performance and both fields have equal opportunities to grab.
Best of luck.

BCA is a 3 year under graduation degree course which is generally pursued by candidates with interest in computers and programming. Whereas B.Tech in CSE/IT is a 4 year Under Graduation Degree Course which is also pursued by candidates with interest in programming and computers. A candidate with B.Tech degree is very likely to get hired by a company as compared to BCA Graduate. B.Tech is much more beneficial as compared to BCA. If you are eligible for admission into B.Tech then you definitely should take admission into B.Tech without giving it a second thought. If you are not eligible for admission into B.Tech then you can go for BCA.
