You can either join first year of BE by giving national/state level entrance test like JEE, BITSAT, UPSEE, MHTCET, etc. Or can opt for B.Tech/BE through lateral entry (direct second year admission), for that you have to appear for LEET (lateral entry test) examination to get a good college.

Hello Nikki,
Shifting engineering college after getting admission is next to impossible process. There are different aspects to it. Private colleges sustain only through fees of students. Loss of a student is loss of income. Secondly, syllabus also may differ. Thirdly depends on availability of seat in intended college. In view of all this, I would like to advise you that please give up these thoughts. Banasthali is quite a reputed institute and you should pursue your studies there only.

Hello Sahil,
This college being a minority college, 50% seats will be reserved for Muslim students. With only 68 marks in MHTCET, I am afraid your chances are quite less. However, I am attaching a link that will predict colleges for you.

IOT the the future of the software industry. The job scope is huge in this specialization. Go ahead as CSE is a good stream with maximum job offers these days. The need for you would be a good university giving you the best academic facilities: best faculty, good placements, wide platform, international exposure, workshops, scholarships etc. There are some colleges giving you the best placement practices by conducting placement classes and drives conducted by companies. Check from institutions like VIT and Lovely Professional University.

Placement wise this college is more than average for CSE. As many IT companies recruit mainly from CSE branch. FIEM also comes under the top 10 private colleges in West Bengal, so the faculty members are very good.

Gitam University would be a better choice, as the faculty is highly experienced and is very regular. The classes are very enjoyable.
