One thing I can say is, this package matter is totally dependent on the student. If student is very good at his core subjects then he get the deserved One. In Rvr one can get a maximum of (5 to 6)Lacs, but maximum of students is used to get around INR 3 lakh.

I can tell from my experience - I did B.Com and then MCA. Only because I had Business Mathematics as a subject in my 2nd year, I was able to get admission for MCA. In our class, 60 candidates were admitted, out of which 6 were non-computer Science background students (from under graduation like B.Com B.Sc. Physics etc. ), and within the 1st semester 4 guys discontinued as they were not able to understand the basic concepts in Computer Science. Myself and another guy (who became a close friend just because we struggled with programming) went on to the 2nd semester. But, my friend found it difficult to continue and dropped there to do M

I have done B.Tech from IIMT, Gr Noida. And I find it worth. There are many positive factors to support my statement. First of all, I think it is fee structure is Lesser when compared to other colleges in Greater Noida. Also IIMT is now NBA Accredited college which makes it different from other colleges. Faculty members are dedicated and are knowledgeable in their respective fields. Also IIMT believes in improving Skills and respects your Vision in Research & Development areas. In conclusion, if you want to get the best, go for IIMT.

There is no minimum cuttoff for GIET, Gunupur in JEE mains. Your board's marks should be above 45%. You can find students with their jee ranks ranging from 10000- 10 lakhs. I don't know why the students with ranks under 20,000 chose this college. Their are better options out there.

No Eligibility criteria. Mostly they took admissions on JEE Mains rank and also sometimes first come first serve basis. You just need to have fill the form and given +2 exam and JEE exam (whether qualified or not ). Its more than enough.

See VIT admissions are divided into 2 phases
Phase 1 :rank 1 to 20k
Phase 2:rank 20k to 100k
If you have rank under 20k you are 80% sure of getting any branch .
But with donation that is phase 2 fees which is quite higher than phase 1 fees you can get other branches.
last year all the students who secured a rank below 1 lakh were called for the counselling.
Cs & IT usually fill fast and for rank above 50k would be available in cat. 4/5 whose fees is quite higher
Conclusion Cs IT difficult to get
Chances of getting are in cat. 4/5 that too in Chennai campus
If opting other branches then chances increase to a good no.

As for government. Engineering college the candidate must be appeared in respective government Engineering entrance exam. For most of the government. Colleges JEE Mains is sufficient. But some colleges conduct their own entrance exams. Like WBJEE COMEDK etc. Now some private engineering colleges can give admission based on 12th marks. But through JEE Mains you can also get good private college. B.Tech from CSE is top notch branch nowadays so your child has to grind hard to present his skills and get admission in superb college.

Sorry to say that but with this percentile you can't get any government college. But you can go for private university.
