Getting CSE branch at this rank is quite difficult because this is the branch which gets filled very fast. Moreover, only in government colleges, there is SC quota. Other than that, there would not be any college that has SC quota.

Both the colleges are very good for CSE.
NIT Trichy comes in the ranking of top NITs of India and BITS Pilani is the premier private engineering institute. However, when it comes to CSE, BITS Pilani certainly has an edge over NITT. BITS has its flagship course as CSE which is at par with the top IITs like IIT Delhi, Bombay, etc. The kind of environment and peer-learning which you get at BITS Pilani is simply phenomenal. The campus life of BITS Pilani is one of the best in India and flexibility of electives is obviously there.
