No, Manipal University is a stand-alone University, after the joint counseling process there's isn't any other connections between these universities. You can opt for a semester in the main Manipal though. CSE has one of the best faculty members in this college and the placements are top notch.

Hi Narain, There is no dress code for B.Tech CSE but yes one thing is for sure that student must come to the class in a decent apparels. Student are required to wear uniform only when they are going to your soft skill classes or placement drives or any prescribed events/ occasions. The uniform is now provided by the university at a very nominal charge at approximately Rs.3000/-. All the best.

RT: It stands for Repeat Theory. Students of CBSE Class 12 are required to pass both theory and practical papers to pass the examination. Students with RT against a subject need to appear for the theory paper of the examination during the compartment examinations. Because Mathematics is the main subject so you will face problems in getting admission. Its better to first clear your Mathematics paper.

Hello Goutham,
For all practical purposes BE and BTech are equivalent. There is no difference whatsoever between these two nomenclatures for a degree in bachelor of engineering. It all depends on which institute you get admission and what that institute offers to you. So do not get bogged down by this issue of different names and go ahead for your admission. Best wishes to you
