This year the placement was fairly good. Almost 40 percent of the students from computer science were placed in dream companies. Considering the mass placement, the percent of placed students goes to almost 75. Microsoft and Cisco were two super dream companies that hired in double digits (1216, I guess). Apart from that, another 1015 students (mostly GDC, 2 for IDC who did internships) got PPO from Microsoft. The highest package was offered by Amazon (27lakh -&get; 3 students). Directi (26 lakh -&get; 1 student), Paypal (21 lakh -&get; 7 students), De-Shaw (25 lakh -&get; 3 students).
Overall, the number of placed students was more in this year than previous years. Many students were hired by IT Companies for mass placements.
