Don't do a certification because they are advertising it well.
If you are in India, you can Join CDAC PG-DITISS.
You can also do some reputed certifications related to Ec-Council
Offensive Security
CCNA Security
There are a lot of reputed names.
(Doing only certifications will not give you a job, you must have command on each and everything in topics related to hacking, simply practice-practice-practice).

Placements: Placements are 100% for the computer science branch. The highest package in India was 35 LPA and the lowest package for CS in India was 12 LPA. The average salary comes out to be around 22 LPA. This is very close to previous year's average too. Top shot companies like Microsoft, Oracle, Amazon, Directi, Adobe, Samsung, HP, Visa, etc. to the newest startups like Nutanix, Crowdfire, etc. were among the recruiters. The roles offered mainly include software development and very rarely testing roles are given.
BITS, Pilani is an amazing place to complete your graduation.

While satyabhama is relatively very strict, as they don't allow you for outings often! Cross gender interaction is not entertained and lesser semester breaks puts the nail to the coffin.
At srm you are free to live the way you wish to and also you are not restricted from outings.
Coming to the academics, you need to maintain a minimum of 75% attendence in both the colleges and failure in doing so would get you detained.
Cse at srm is accredited by ieee, ibm for different branches whiles it's not so for satyabhama.
The faculty to student ratio in srm is lot more than
