Hi,
B.Tech is a more comprehensive course and includes lot of subjects + lots of practical and has a subset from the BCA course syllabus too. BCA helps to build programming skills for developing software/website/cloud/mobile applications. English and Mathematics being compulsory subjects in previous study. BCA is for 3 years and B.Tech for 4 years. For both these courses, job opportunities are plenty in the IT sector. However, scope wise B.Tech graduates could have relatively more flexibility in the positions and also the pay. BCA is a great platform for higher studies such as MCA. But B.Tech can still act as a standalone course and su

About NMIT, placement wing:
Again, if you are in CS IS or ECE branch, then be sure that you will get placed as these have 100% placement, and sorry if you are from other branch, you will have to struggle a lot. The average package is about INR 4 Lacs to INR 5 Lacs and the maximum package received by any student is INR 18 Lacs, which was provided by Subex. Some of the good companies which come are Microsoft. 4/10
Hostel Facilities:
The hostel facility is terrible in my sense. First year, hostel is okay, as it has 2 person per room and most of the thing is okay, but the main problem in first year hostel is that they close the hostel gate at

In my personal view, I would prefer NIIT University over UPES-Dehradun, for the below mentioned reasons. One of the added bonus is that of the NIIT legacy, belonging to the IT background, NIIT proves to be a strong backbone for NU. It has been in the software development and IT for the past few decades. Course structure
NU B.Tech in Computer Science with emphasis on Digital Transformation Technologies, is mainly focused on building a strong foundation in mathematical and algorithmic concepts. It has a strong industry linkage to make students industry-ready. The course is well defined and well executed as well. Even if you didn't have c

1. MNIT- Being an NIT, you will get best faculty, infrastructure, environment and ofcourse the best placements in Jaipur.
2. LNMIIT- After MNIT, it is the second best college for CSE. Placements packages are comparatively less as compared to MNIT still better than all other colleges in Rajasthan.
3. JECRC and SKIT. If you donot have any other option other than RTU, then Jecrc and Skit are good. In 2016, 96% of eligible students have been placed. With the highest package by HSBC (7 LPA) and average (3.5 LPA). All the best.
