Hey there,
Thanks for a2a
Both are good streams.
In CSE, you will learn primary about Computers, databases, programming, software development methodologies, algorithms etc. If you are planning on joining an IT company, CSE would be a good option.
In ECE,you will learn primary about electronics and deal with hardware mostly. There is less emphasis on computer programming.
You basically learn about various electronic components, how to use them to make circuits, learn about various communication systems like radio,TV etc.
I hope this will help you in choosing the right branch,

Dear, this may be good. But regarding all other as suggested above, I am not agree. I have crossed over one and highly impressed as I find it as trying to follow & compete with JAYPEE university & Galgotias univesity in following aspects:
(a) Implementation of modern educational concepts & associated internationally renowned faculty from IITs & abroad.(b) global exposure by signing MOUs with many renowned technical universities/institutions of USA, UK, RUSSIA & Thailand etc.(c) Flexibilities for choosing additional courses over RTU, Kota, Faculty Members, Class, Class timing & peers groups of learning.
(d) project based learning, digita
...more

LNMIIT is much better option as compared to UPES and there is a good placement record with LNMIIT as compared to UPES CSE placement records. Pursuing petroleum engineering in UPES would be great than pursuing CSE at UPES.
