The cutoff trend for BTech at IIIT Bhagalpur - Indian Institute of Information Technology has been decreasing in recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the General category for all India quota was 79213. In 2022, it decreased to 68306. Likewise, the cut-off ranks have changed from 108036 to 82739 for OBC, 236479 to 194161 for SC, 382536 to 407990 for ST, 153436 to 70166 for EWS, and 46383 to 2328 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. The cutoff for BMS College of Engineering is very high. For the KCET 2023, the overall cutoff for the college was 841 - 1998 rank. The cutoff for different courses varies, but it is generally in the range of 800 - 2000. For example, the cutoff for Computer Science was 1179, while the cutoff for Civil Engineering was 1499.
