Both have different scopes. But in my opinion you should opt for B.Tech. B.Tech is a professional degree. Jobs are more on the basis of B.Tech. Many colleges offer this course. Admission is mainly based on entrance exam.

You may get ETC in VSSUT since the usual cutoff for ETC is about 120,000 every year. But I can't say this for sure if you're a general male. You may have a chance. As far as counseling is concerned, keep an eye on the OJEE website and fill choices as per your preferences once the counseling process starts. Seats will be allocated on the basis of your choices and your rank. Good luck.

Dear Mandar, in case you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre college. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if your try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech degree with various specializations. They have their different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12th marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance
