B.Tech Eligibility

The eligibility for BTech is Class 12 from recognised board. The admissions are entrance based. Students are selected on basis of JEE Main ranks. The seats are allocated through the counselling process conducted by DTE. 

Students must have passed  Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% aggregate for reserved categories) with Physics/ Chemistry/ Mathematics from a recognised board to apply for BTech at the Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran.

Candidates need minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST, Category I, 2A, 2B, 3A ,3B) in Class 12 with English, Physics and Mathematics as compuslory subjects and one of Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology/ Computer/ Electronics to be eligible for BTech admission in SDM Institute of Technology.

Candidates need to have minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ ST/ OBCs of Karnataka) taken together in all the subjects of the final year of Diploma in engineering to be eligible for admission through lateral entry at SDM Institute of Technology.

To be eligible for BTech admission in ITM SLS Baroda University, candidates need to pass Class 12 with at least 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in Physics/ Mathematics/ Chemistry.

The eligibility criteria for the BTech course at Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute, Kumulur is pass in Class 12th from a recognised board. 

Institute of Technology Roorkee offers BTech across several specialisations. The duration for BTech at ITR Roorkee is 4 years. The eligibility for BTech courses at ITR is Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 505 and a valid score in JEE Main.

No, for regular B.Tech admission in KIET, eligibility is generally based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM). Computer Science usually cannot replace Chemistry for PCM percentage calculation.

However, Computer Science marks may be considered in some cases for Diploma students applying through lateral entry admission.

The basic eligibility criteria for the MBBS students at Sri Siddhartha Institute of Medical Science and Research Center is NEET. Also, students must have good scores in Class 12th with a minimum of 50% aggregate. 

Eligible candidates can get admission in BTech at Sagar Institute of Science Technology and Research through Madhya Pradesh DTE counselling which is based upon the scores of candidates in JEE (Mains) exam. If there are any seats left vacant, they are filled through College Level Counselling (CLC) based on Class 12 merit.
