B.Tech Eligibility

Poornima University BTech students can secure up to 40% tuition fee waivers through the SES scheme. This discount is calculated using your best five subjects in Class 12. Students scoring above 85% get the highest fee discount brackets. The scholarship applies directly to your first-year tuition fee component.

Poornima University BTech core branches require at least 50% aggregate marks in Class 12. For SC, ST, OBC, and SBC category students, the minimum requirement is relaxed to 45%. The compulsory subjects for these specific branches are Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.

To be eligible for Lateral Entry in second year of BTech at SGT University, candidates need to fulfill any one of the following conditions-

• Minimum 45% (40% for Reserved Category) in 2-3 year Diploma in any branch of Engineering and Technology. 
• Minimum 45% (40% for Reserved Category) in BSc with Mathematics in Class 12. 
• Passed B.Voc or 3-year D.Voc Stream in the same or allied sector.

To apply for BTech at CGC University, students must fulfil the eligibility. The eligibility is to pass Class 12 in PCM with 60% (55% for reserved categories) from a recognised board.

Admission to B.Tech (LEET) programs at JC Bose University of Science and Technology is made through centralised counselling conducted by HSTES. For vacant/ seats, the University conducts institute-level counselling. Admission is granted strictly on the basis of rank in the OCET conducted by HSTES and marks in the qualifying exam.

Eligibility conditions for Lateral Entry in BTech at JC Bose University of Science and Technology is as follows:

•  Minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in 2-3 year Diploma in ANY branch of Engineering and Technology. OR
• Minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category) in BSc Degree and passed Class 12 with Mathematics as a subject. OR
•  Passed 3-year D.Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector. OR
• Passed 1st year B.Vov. programme after Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics (Non Meducal) in the same or allied sector.

The Indian Institute for Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology (IIAEIT) course admission is entrance based. To apply for BTech course students need to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology with minimum 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories) or three-year Diploma in Engineering with at least 45% aggregate (40% for reserved categories).
