B.Tech Eligibility

The University of Hyderabad asks the students to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. In addition, students must score a valid JEE Main and apply for BE/BTech admission. The eligibility is being fixed, so the students have sound knowledge in the Science stream. They must also refer to the official notice for category-wise relaxation and cut-off information.

Government College of Engineering Ratnagiri courses are offered to students at the UG level. The college is mainly concerned with the Engineering & Technology stream and offers a BTech programme to students. Candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme at the college must be Class 12 passed or equivalent with PCM as compulsory subjects and a minimum aggregate of 45% from a recognised board. 

Echelon Institute of Technology admissions are based on entrance exam scores. The college accepts various national-level entrance exams, such as CAT, GATE, CET, CUET, JEE Main, etc. To get admission to the Echelon Institute of Technology, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Further, candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme at Echelon Institute of Technology must be Class 12 passed with a minimum of 50% aggregate (PCM) and English as a core subject. The student must have studied Physics and Mathematics. 

NIMS University admission is both merit and entrance-based. The university offers a wide range of programmes at UG, PG, and PhD levels. Admission to most of the UG and PG courses is done through the university's in-house entrance exam, NIMSEE. To get admitted to NIMS University, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. Further, candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme must be Class 12 passed in relevant subjects with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for reserved category). 

To obtain admission to BTech at Guwahati University, the candidate should pass Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English. The relaxation is for reserved category students with 45% for SC and 40% for ST candidates. Also, a valid JEE Main or Assam CEE rank is required. Final admission is made through counselling organized by DTE Assam.

Kuppam Engineering College admission is entrance-based. It is mainly concerned with the Engineering and Management streams, and offers courses, including BTech, MTech, etc. Further, candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme at Kuppam Engineering College Chittoor, must be Class 12 passed with 45% from a recognised board. 

Admission to B.Tech programs at IIT Roorkee requires candidates to first clear JEE Main, and then qualify JEE Advanced through JoSAA counselling.

Candidates must fulfill at least one of the following conditions, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects (in the year they first appeared in the Class XII exam):

1. A minimum of 75% aggregate marks in Class XII board exams. For SC, ST, and PwD candidates, the minimum is 65%.

2. Being among the top 20 percentile of successful candidates in their respective Class XII board exam. 

The selection process for BTech / BE admissions at Adichunchanagiri University is entirely online. Candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in accepted entrance exams such as the ACU Entrance Test, COMEDK UGET, or KCET. Students can apply with the scorecard of any one of these exams. Only those who meet the required eligibility criteria will be considered for admission.

To be eligible for the BTech / BE programme at Adichunchanagiri University:

• General category students need a minimum aggregate score of 45% in the last qualifying examination, while non-reserved category students require at least 40%.
• Students need to have the following subject combination: Physics and Mathematics, along with any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Electronics, or Computer Science. Students must have studied English in Class 12 (compulsory).

The eligibility criteria for BTech course at Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College, Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation, requires the pass Class 12 with subjects such as Physics, Maths, etc. from a recognised board. Candidates must submit the marksheet and certificate for the same to confirm admission in Vinayaka Mission's Kirupananda Variyar Engineering College, Vinayaka Mission's Research Foundation.
