B.Tech Eligibility

The eligibility to apply for BTech at Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya is to pass Class 12 from any recognised board or equivalent with minimum 65% aggregate marks for GEN / GEN-EWS / OBC-NCL candidates, whereas 60% aggregate marks in case of SC / ST / PwD candidates. The aggregate marks should be calculated with Physics and Math as mandatory subject and Chemistry, Biology, Language and other subjects as per the respective examination board scheme.

SOA University offers merit-based scholarship to BTech students. Candidates with an overall of 80% marks in Class 10 & 12 get a monetary scholarship of INR 35, 000 per annum for the complete duration of the course.

Students pursuing BTech and belong to SC/ ST category can apply for SC/ ST scholarship. Students are selected based on JEE for the first BTech semesters and last CGPA obtained by student in all other semesters. The students are required to maintain a CGPA of 6.0 or above in other semesters and should have no 'F' grade in previous regular semesters. The parental income should not exceed INR 4.5 lakh. Selected aspirants get free food and boarding as well as an allowance of INR 250 per month.

KL University Hyderabad offers scholarships to BTech students based on their Class 12 percentage, KLEEE or JEE Main rank. Students get up to 50% scholarship based on their entrance exam scores or academic performance.

Aspirants seeking entry into Sri University BTech must pass their Class 12 exams with at least 45% marks. Candidates belonging to reserved categories receive a relaxed minimum requirement of 40%. The university evaluates cumulative marks from all standard Science and technical subjects taken together.

BTech aspirants can apply in normal category as well as Defense/ CAPF category for PDEU Scholarship. Below are the details:

• 100% tuition fee waiver is offered to wards of Gallantry Award winner or those who made
  supreme sacrifice for the nation i.e. fatal battle causality. 
• 50% tuition fee waiver is offered to ward injured / war disabled soldier of defence force
  and CAPF.
• 50% tuition fee waiver is offered to wards soldiers whose annual income less than INR 8 lakh.
