There are a number of dates which you can fill. Depends on your choice. It's all online. Once you fill the form, you will get an email id and password and through that portal you can lock your date of the examination. Tentatively the examination starts in May and continues for the entire month.

Hello,
To crack UPSC Exams, you can select any of these - B.Sc. or B.Tech because your choice of graduation has nothing to do with your performance in the exam. B.Sc. will be a better option for you as it will take only 3 years to be completed and hence, you will also get more time for UPSC preparation.
Best of luck!

Guide-Level 15

The entrance exam consists of 150 questions, each carrying 1 mark and -1/4 as negative mark.
Admission is based on the internal and external categories, internal means resident of UP and external means resident of other states.
There are almost 50% seats reserved for internal. So, the competition is quite tough. If you are an internal candidate then you need to score 100+ marks to reserve a seat in AMU, but if you are an external then you need to score 120+. If you get 90+ you will surely get your name in the waiting list.
All the best.
