Each MBA specialisation needs specific personality traits for excelling in the profession say if you are outspoken and like travelling, meeting people and take target pressure then Marketing & Sales could be a preference, if you are a peoples person wherein you like counselling people and act as an advisory & wants a desk job bonded by rules & regulations then HRM will be exciting. Yes, you should pursue the degree course now, but since you have already obtained diploma I don't think you need a B.Tech degree and you can apply for masters.
