Hi Hruday,
It's a low percentage but admissions also depend on other factors like recommendation letters, personal statement, GRE score and how competitive the chosen university is. Getting into a top tier university will be very difficult. You have to check university websites, compare the entry requirements, fees etc. and prepare.

Any individual who has cleared his 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) from a recognised board or institution like CBSE, state board or NIOS is eligible to opt for B.Tech mechanical engineering.
