GUJCET 2024 Counselling: The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) has started the GUJCET Counselling registration. The last date to apply for GUJCET counselling 2024 is May 28. Interested candidates can register online for the counselling from the ACPC portal using the direct link given below on this page. 

The detailed schedule of GUJCET counselling 2024 and seat allotment for all rounds will be released soon by the ACPC. Candidates participating in the counselling can check below the counselling procedure, and documents required for counselling or from the website gujacpc.admissions.nic.in.

The complete counselling process will be conducted online. The allotment of seats will be  done on the basis of the merit list. GUJCET 2024 counselling process and seat allotment will be conducted in two rounds. The first round allotment of seats will be based on candidates' scores in GUJCET 2024 and second round seat allotment was on the basis of JEE Main 2024.

The result of the seat allotment was announced on the official website gujacpc.admissions.nic.in. Candidates who were allotted seats had required to confirm their admission by paying the seat confirmation fee and reporting to the allotted institute as per the specified dates. GUJCET Counselling 2024 Procedure

To participate in GUJCET 2024 counselling, candidates have to register online, fill in choices of institutes and pay the registration fee online. The complete step-by-step GUJCET counselling registration process can be checked below.

Register for GUJCET Counselling 2024 

Step 1-Fill the GUJCET counselling application form: At first, candidates have to register online on the official website gujacpc.nic.in. Candidates have to provide their basic details like name, mobile number, and email address at this stage.

Step 2- Login and Fill GUJCET Counselling form: After the completion of GUJCET counselling registration, candidates have to log in and fill the complete form of GUJCET 2024 counselling. At this stage, candidates have to provide details of communication address, parents' details, gender etc.

Step 3- Upload Scanned Images of Photo and Signature: After filling the application form, candidates need to upload their scanned photograph and signature. The size and resolution of scanned images have to be in accordance with the dimension mentioned by ACPC.

Step 4- Details of Class 12: At this stage, candidates have to enter details of their class 12, whether appearing or passed.

Step 6- Payment of GUJCET 2024 Counselling FeeAt last, candidates have to pay GUJCET counselling fee online using a credit/debit card or internet banking. GUJCET counselling registration 2024 will be completed after successful payment of the counselling fee.

GUJCET Counselling 2024 Choice Filling and Locking

The process of GUJCET 2024 choice filling will open separately for both rounds. Candidates have to fill in their choices of preferred institute and branch of study by login in within specified dates. Candidates will be able to add, remove, swap, and move the choices within the last date of choice filling.
After completion of the GUJCET choice filling process, candidates will go for the choice locking. Check all the filled choices and submit the choices of course and college preference. Click on the “Unlock choices” in order to make any changes in the locked choices before the last date of choice locking.

GUJCET 2024 Seat Allotment

The admission authority of ACPC will declare the seat allotment result separately for both rounds as per the schedule. Candidates can check GUJCET seat allotment result by login to the ACPC portal to know about the course and college allotted to them for admission. If a candidate wants to accept the seat then he/she has to freeze the seat within the provided time. After freezing the seat, download the bank challan and make payment of the tuition fee. In order to pay the fee online using net banking/credit card/debit card. If a candidate wants to go for the subsequent round of counselling then he/she can apply for it at the same time.

Reporting to the Allotted Institute/College.

After making the fee payment online, candidates can download the admission slip. Report to the allotted college on the given date and time. Carry all the required documents such as admission slip, payment receipt/challan, information letter, etc.

Q:   What is the process to accept the allotted seat in GUJCET counselling?

A:

Once a candidate is allotted a seat, he/she need to login to the JoSAA candidate portal and chose the “Accept and Freeze” option. After the option is selected, candidate will be issued a provisional seat allotment letter with details of college and branch with details of seat confirmation fee to be paid. Candidate will need to pay the fees online through credit/debit card or internet banking. Once the fee payment is done, the seat allotment will be confirmed.

 

Q:   What documents are required to participate in GUJCET counselling?

A:

To participate in the GUJCET counselling, candidates will need to upload the following documents at the time of JoSAA registration.

  • Class 10 mark sheet/certificate
  • Class 12 certificate
  • Certificate of category (if applicable)
  • PwD certificate (if applicable)
 

Q:   Where can I check GUJCET counselling dates?

A:

The schedule of GUJCET counselling can be checked on Shiksha page as well as on the ACPC website. As per the information available on the website, counselling registration was open from May 2 to 30. ACPC is conducting the GUJCET counselling in two rounds. The round 1 seat allotment was announced on July 6 while round 2 seat allotment will be announced on August 2.

 

Q:   Where can I check round-wise cutoff for all rounds of GUJCET counselling?

A:

The round-wise cutoff ranks for GUJCET counselling can be checked on the Shiksha portal as well as ACPC website acpc.admisison.nic.in. The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) is the organizing body of GUJCET counselling. The cutoff for each round for all the participating institutes and branch/specializations are made available on the ACPC portal.

 

Q:   Do I need to pay any fees once seat is allotted in GUJCET counselling?

A:

Candidates will need to pay a certain amount of fees once the provisional seat allotment is made. The details of fees to be paid will be mentioned in the provisional seat allotment letter. Once the candidates pay the required fees, the seat allotted to the candidate will be confirmed and final allotment letter will be issued. The amount of fees will vary for various category of candidates.

 

Q:   How many rounds are there in GUJCET counselling?

A:

The Admission Committee for professional courses will conduct at total of two rounds counselling and seat allotment process. The round 1 counselling is over. For round 2 counselling seat allotment, candidates will be allowed to modify their choices between July 26 to 30 and seat allotment result will be announced on August 3.

 

Q:   Can I still participate in GUJCET counselling if I do not accept the seat allotted to me?

A:

The process of GUJCET counselling and seat allotment consists of several processes. Once a seat is allotted to a candidate, he/she has the option of “Accept and Freeze” and “Accept and Float”. If a candidate is satisfied with the allotted seat and selects the first option, he/she cannot participate in the next round counselling. If the candidate is not satisfied with the allotted seat, he/she can select the second option trough which he/she can participate in the next round counselling with the current seat.

 

Q:   Is there any mock seat allotment in GUJCET counselling?

A:

GUJCET counselling do have the provision of mock seat allotment. ACPC will conduct a total of two rounds seat allotment where candidates can check which college they get based on the choice filled by them. Candidates after registering for the counselling have to enter their preferred choice of college and branch in the order of preference. The allotment of seats will be made on the basis of All India Rank and choices filled by the candidate.

 

Q:   What is the fee to participate in GUJCET counselling?

A:

There is no fees for GUJCET counselling registration. Candidates can register for the counselling and participate in the counselling without any fees. However, candidates need to pay the seat confirmation fees once the seat is allotted to them. The fees can be paid online using credit/debit card and net banking.
