Overview

GUJCET Counselling 2026: The exam body, Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), will release GUJCET 2026 counselling dates after results are declared. Students who wish to participate in counselling of GUJCET 2026 will have to visit gujacpc.admissions.nic.in and register. To register they will have to filling choices of colleges and courses, and make changes in their choices. We will share direct link for candidates to register for the counselling process.

The complete counselling process is conducted online, and seat allotment will be done on the basis of the merit list. GUJCET 2026 counselling process and seat allotment will be conducted in two rounds. The first round allotment of seats will be based on candidates' scores in GUJCET 2026, and the second round seat allotment will be based on JEE Main 2026/GUJCET. The ACPC will release the GUJCET 2026 seat allotment after the registration is done. Candidates participating in the counselling can check below the details related to the GUJCET counselling choice filling, registration, round-wise seat allotment information, and cutoff.

Q:   What are the fees for the BTech course in the GUJCET exam?
A: 

Being an entrance exam there are no course fees for the same. However, after you get admission into the college you will have to pay the college fees which will depend upon the college and GUJCET doesn't have any say in that.

Q:   Are there any scholarships in the GUJCET exam?
A: 

As the GUJCET is just an entrance exam, there are no scholarships here. However, if you get shortlisted for a college, you might enquire for scholarships of that particular college.

GUJCET Counselling 2026 Choice Filling and Locking

Candidates must complete the GUJCET 2026 choice-filling process online through the ACPC portal. After logging in, they can select their preferred colleges and branches, with the flexibility to add, remove, or reorder their selections until the deadline. Once satisfied, candidates should review and lock their choices; however, if changes are needed before the final cutoff, they can use the "Unlock choices" feature to edit their list.

GUJCET 2026 Seat Allotment

The ACPC will announce GUJCET Seat Allotment in June 2026. Candidates can check the GUJCET seat allotment result by logging in to the ACPC portal to know about the course and college allotted to them for admission. If a candidate wants to accept the seat, then he/she has to freeze the seat within the provided time. After freezing the seat, download the bank challan and make payment of the tuition fee. To pay the fee online using net banking/credit card/debit card. If a candidate wants to go for the subsequent round of counselling then he/she can apply for it at the same time.

Reporting to the Allotted Institute/College

After making online fee payment, students can download admission slip. Post which they will have to report to the allotted college on the given date and time.

Students must carry all documents - admission slip, payment receipt/challan, information letter, etc.

GUJCET Cutoff 2026

The Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) publishes the GUJCET 2026 cutoff on its official website after the exam results are announced. These cutoffs, released for each counselling round, show the opening and closing ranks (All India Rank) required for admission to different colleges and courses.

Checking the 2025 and earlier cutoffs is highly recommended for applicants. These previous years' trends help candidates estimate their chances of getting into their preferred institutes based on their current rank. Generally, if a candidate's rank is equal to or better than the closing rank, they have a strong chance of securing a seat.

If qualified in the exam, candidates can get admission into LD College of Engineering, Nirma University, Dharmsinh Desai UNIVERSITY (DDU), Birla Vishwakarma Mahavidhyala (BVM), Government Engineering College, Rajkot, Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda (MSU) etc.

Q:   What is the GUJCET admission process?

The GUJCET admission process includes registration, appearing for the exam, participating in the counselling, paying the fee and finally reporting to the college.

Q:   When will the GUJCET result be declared?
A: 

The GUJCET result will be declared after the final answer key is released. The result will be declared on its official website.

Q:   What are the stages in the GUJCET exam?
A: 

There are not multiple stages in the GUJCET exam. You need to qualify it and appear for the counselling, after that you will get admission into the course and college of your choice.

Q:   What is the GUJCET exam?

The GUJCET exam is an entrance test which is conducted for admission of students into (B.Tech) and pharmacy (B.Pharma) programs. GUJCET stands for Gujarat Common Entrance Test. Shortlisted candidates will be able to take admission into government as well as private colleges based on their scores.
